The Island House

4.7

( 8 reviews )

Mahogany Hill Western Rd, Nassau, Bahamas

Resort Hotel

“During our recent visit to the Island House Hotel, We had the most incredible experience, all thanks to the exceptional care provided by the owner, Lauren. From the moment we arrived, she personally ensured that all our needs were met, going above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The room we stayed in was incredibly spacious and exquisitely decorated, providing us with a comfortable and luxurious retreat after a day of exploring the island. The attention to detail in the room was truly impressive and added to the overall ambiance of the hotel. The pool area was equally impressive, relaxing atmosphere that made it the perfect spot. One of the highlights of our stay was the variety of dining options available at the hotel. With three distinct restaurants to choose from, each offering a unique culinary experience, we were spoiled for choice. Additionally, the onsite little market provided a range of premium products, allowing us to enjoy gourmet meals in the comfort of our own room.Overall, our time at the Island House Hotel was nothing short of remarkable, and we cannot wait to return. Thank you, Lauren, for your outstanding hospitality and for overseeing every aspect of our stay with such care and attention to detail. We will be sure to recommend this exceptional hotel.”

4

Old Bahama Bay, West End

4.5

( 8 reviews )

P225+6P4, West End, Bahamas

Hotel Resort

“Weather has not been our friend so we took a drive out to the West End. The resort offered lunch at the pool bar and it overlooked a beautiful beach. I had conch and it was delicious. Property looked amazing but we were mostly visiting for lunch. Walked the docks and had fun looking down the piers in the crystal blue water at fish. Fun way to spend a couple of hours.”

5

Grand Isle Resort And Residences

4.6

( 16 reviews )

Great Exuma, Bahamas

Resort Hotel Apartment

“We had an absolutely fantastic experience during our stay at the breathtaking Grand Isle resort. The rooms were incredibly spacious and adorned with exquisite decorations, complemented by a fully equipped kitchen. The property boasts not one, but two expansive pools, all while being situated on a stunning beachfront. However, what truly set Grand Isle apart for us was the exceptional service. The staff members were not only friendly, but also displayed utmost professionalism and an unwavering commitment to ensuring our vacation was both enjoyable and rejuvenating. Three individuals, in particular, deserve special recognition for going above and beyond: Aaron, Nikki, and Kevon. Their remarkable efforts made our stay truly memorable. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend Grand Isle as an outstanding choice.”

6.

Sandyport Beach Resort

4.3

( 8 reviews )

W Bay St, Nassau, Bahamas

Resort Hotel

”We really enjoyed our time at Sandyport! The location is super convenient and close to airport, but it is also close enough to go into town or Paradise Island. The resort is very laid-back and quiet, not at all like the loud and more …”

7.

Resorts World Bimini Resort And Marina

4.4

( 16 reviews )

PPX9+4FF, Bailey Town, Bahamas

Resort Hotel Apartment

”Well let me start by saying my first and last the resort need to train their employees and managers very unprofessional and rude and liars got here Friday 11-24-23 when notice were my room was # 470 was very far from the main lobby ,just had a knee surgery they told me no rooms available had to wait until next day . My daughter was in 370 found a bug in the bed she complaint also told her no rooms available later in the evening offer her room 436 bad smell in the room like weed she when down again around 8:00 pm after an hour the manager when to her room 370 just handed the keys to room 423 didn’t apologize at all we are very upset at the way they handled my situation and my daughter. Furniture in the lobby very dirty carpet in the hallways and in the rooms very dirty, shower head had black mold . We try to go on Saturday to Bimini beach club couldn’t go in because Virgin cruise had the hold beach for them .We came back to the hotel to enjoy the pool it was a mission the get an umbrella at the pool and by the way the pool have a crack on the floor .”

8.

Margaritaville Beach Resort - Nassau

4.2

( 8 reviews )

2 Bay St, Nassau, Bahamas

Resort Hotel

”We did a day pass here from a cruise ship. We had a very positive experience.Don't bother with taxis. This place is very walkable from the cruise ship port. Depending on traffic, a taxi will probably take longer anywayMy family loved the water park. There were about 5 slides to enjoy, a lazy river, and a huge play pool (max 3 foot deep). They also had a cool surfing wave pool, but the line was long. The food and drink prices were really high, which was a little disappointing since the day pass was so costly. You easily spend $100+ feeding a family of four.Staff was great. Towels were included. Get there early because the good chairs fill up fast.”

9.

Graycliff Hotel

4.3

( 16 reviews )

W Hill St, Nassau, Bahamas

Hotel Guest house Apartment

”An incredible historical place with traditional state of the art decor. Service was top-notch!! We had to have their wine. It was the largest wine menu I ever saw, and I'm a wino contour. Overall, it made my stop and Nassau magical.”

10.

Caerula Mar Club

4.6

( 8 reviews )

5CQ5+JM3, Queen's Hwy, Driggs Hill Settlement, Bahamas

Resort Hotel

”Unlike most of the reviews here, we stayed at the motel - for several days in fact. We found the motel lacking in amenities for families (no, we did not watch the "show" - if we had, we would likely not have come) and the food was the quality of a holiday inn at prices exceeding capital grille - more than $400 for a dinner for 4 with no alcohol on the bill. The room was nice and the staff were friendly, so that was helpful. Ultimately, with better family amenities and much improved quality of food at fair prices, I would have given the motel a 4 star review given its location. However, if this motel were in a location with other viable options, it's a 3 star stay all day long.”

11.

The Grand Lucayan

4.1

( 16 reviews )

1 Sea Horse Lane, Freeport, Bahamas

Hotel Resort

”If you are looking for entertainment I suggest not staying here. The only entertainment available when we were there was the beach. You can take a 10 minute walk and go to the market, which was fun. The food on the resort was ok they had the same breakfast buffet everyday but 1 day and they let us order from the menu. The coconut french toast was amazing. I booked 2 massages and both were canceled because they couldn't find a massage therapist. Kitchen staff was amazing and very friendly. The rooms were ok nothing fancy. The beds were hard and cold.”

12.

The Cove Eleuthera

4.6

( 8 reviews )

Queen's Hwy, Gregory Town, Bahamas

Hotel Resort Villa

”Stayed in 2019 & I must say that after reading all the reviews, I had braced myself to get financially ripped off. However, after renting a car at the airport & being able to explore the island, I realized EVERYONE who accepts a credit card charges an arm & a leg! This meaning the 12% VAT & 18% Gratuity. Yes - a whopping 30%! But overall, believe it or not, this trip was worth every penny: the island people are nice, there are few tourists, & generally safe. AND YES - this resort was so nice! You probably don't have enough time to read a listing. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because yup, the rooms are small w/barely walking space around the king-sized bed which had low pointy corners & of course, I bumped both my lower shins on each end by the 2nd day. Yet, I was lucky to have met their driver/bellman Jerome J. & hopefully you will, too. Apparently, Silver Airways is notorious for losing your luggage for a day or 2, but Jerome was also a courier since he brought my suitcase from the airport to my bungalow without me even requesting! How kind! This is a place I would definitely return to.”

13.

The Coral At Atlantis

4

( 8 reviews )

One Casino Drive, Suite 21, 1 Casino Drive, Paradise Island, Bahamas

Hotel Resort 4 star $$

”The room was dated, the AC was dirty, beds were hard as a rock. For a “luxury” stay it sure felt like a motel 6 room. Showers would not stay “warm”, either burning out or cold. You can hear EVERYTHING through the walls. Prices are outrageous and taxed to no end, expect to pay 25% extra on everything. The lazy river and the challenger slides weren’t working during our stay which was a huge disappointment. Had a worker be absolutely rude to us over reprinting our wristbands two days later after getting our 1st one. The wifi was down for 2 days and spotty at best the whole time. servers in the casino and at the pools were nonexistent, even after tipping extra after the 25% still could never get a server. Customer service at the desks were not helpful or nice, just rude. Not a great experience.”

14.

4.6

( 8 reviews )

Abaco, Bahamas

Hotel Inn

”Cannot say enough about this wonderful gem of a resort! We had 4 couples and rented two cottages next to each other and had our 27' boat rental right out the door in a slip. What an incredible place! The cottages are beautifully decorated and like brand new, the bar, swim up pool bar and restaurant are fantastic and ALL staff members are super friendly and just a joy. We will definitely return! It's a unique place, like no other.”

15.

Abaco Beach Resort

4.2

( 16 reviews )

Bay St, Marsh Harbour, Bahamas

Resort Hotel

”First the employees are lovely and food is good and the facilities are well kept. Unfortunately there are roughly three rooms occupied! No one is at the hotel and you are isolated. The beach is very rocky and Shelly so swimming is not …”

16.

Dolphin Cove

4.6

( 8 reviews )

#14 Swan Dr, Freeport, Bahamas

Hotel Holiday home Guest house

”We loved our time here. The rooms are lovely and the staff is very friendly and helpful. You can even rent a car on the premises”

17.

4.6

( 16 reviews )

Cable Beach, 340 West Bay Street, Nassau, Bahamas

Resort Hotel

”A beautiful resort that’s calm and quiet. We went during late December and it was nice and quiet. There’s a gorgeous strip of beach and you can request a chair be brought out for free. No need to rush down in the morning to find a spot. It’s also connected to a bit of a larger strip of beach which is nice to walk down or if you want some privacy. The pastries at the coffee shop are incredibly tasty and fresh. The on-site restaurant and even the pool-side food is well-made.The rooms are comfortable and clean.”

18.

The Dunmore Hotel

4.7

( 8 reviews )

Colebrook St, Dunmore Town, Bahamas

Hotel

”I've stayed in hotels all over the world and this is definitely a top 5. We stayed in the Harbor Cottage (High Tide) over Thanksgiving and absolutely loved it. Western facing views for sunsets with a private heated pool shared with Low Tide cottage. The main Dunmore area, restaurant and beach were fabulous with great food / selection/ drinks, etc. Beach is lovely. Gym was super nice too...had great equipment - Pelaton bike and treadmill. They also arranged a day out on a boat which was a blast. Definitely will be going back.”

19.

Coral Sands Hotel

4.5

( 8 reviews )

G939+F37, Chapel St, Dunmore Town, Bahamas

Hotel Resort

”Coral Sands staff is exceptional. Each seems consistently happy and is genuinely truly eager to help. The beds are perfect, and the beach is fantastic. A great place for couples or families. And, an excellent spot to fly fish – check out Bonefish Patrick!”

20.

4.4

( 16 reviews )

Green Turtle Cay, Bahamas

Resort Hotel

”Great location and friendly helpful staff. The marina has on office for customs so you can check in here. Great convenience. Very cool bar and nice restaurant. You can also rent golf carts right at the dock to get around town. Live music from the back of your bought when they have it on the patio, we stayed several days and enjoyed it.”
